Who's going and when?

I am going to have look around on the Saturday and then doing Discover Dogs on the Sunday. If any Champdog people are around come to the Spanish Water Dog stand on the Sunday and say hello.

Anyone on CD is very welcome to come and have a chat but be warned, if it is whilst the bitches are being judged I may have other things on my mind :-) So please excuse me if I don't have too much time to natter.

Ummmm, someone forgot to tell me crufts is on shortly!! When is it exactly and does anyone know when the gundog's are being shown ( labs in particular)

Gundog day is Thursday March 6th, maybe someone in the lab world can tell you which hall and rings for labs.:)

The Crufts site has finally updated the Breed Showing Programme in the Visitors Info section, so you can see when and where everything is being judged.

I will be on the DD weimaraner stand on Saturday if anyone would like to say HI!

PS Be warned though I hear that my little sis is going to be there on Saturday as well, so get your chardonnay order in early at the bar, before the sell out. LOL :-) :-) :-D

Jayne, My order is already at the bar... I made sure I gave it after last year after we missed out! I hope to get a break but that depends on if we get a relief..... so if I dont get to you please come and share the chardonnay after you have finished showing.

Look forward to seeing you steph :D We are hoping to get there at about 10-11 ...we were at LKA FAR too early (mind you it gave Hudson a chance to wear himself out with the infernal yapping :D )

We will probably set off from Lincs at about 8.30 ..took about an hour and a half last time but I expect the Crufts traffic to make it slower this rime ...

Ps, what do those of you who have long haired breeds do with your brush when in the ring - I hope its not too silly a question. My breeder recommended a waistcoat, but I haven't found one and money is a bit short. Thanks.

I just hold my brush in the hand that I don't have the lead in - usually the right hand and just pop it on the floor when stacking the dog in the line and on the table when on the table.

Hi, we will be there on the Friday doing Discover Dogs with the ''devil twins'' so if anyone wants to come and say hello, we will be on the Australian Shepherd stand all day. Well, apart from nipping off to watch a bit of the aussie judging!!!

Thanks for that everyone. The judges don't mind you having your brush in your hand when moving about then, I thought they might not like it. I will look in Littlewoods then anyway and see what they have. The problem with a bumbag for me is that I used to keep treats in it and Saffy seems to have the habit of jumping up now when I have it on. Also, I didn't know if it would look smart enough to wear one at Crufts (never having been before!)

Dont know if its any good but Littlewoods do some cheap waistcoats
and not for the too dainty too (Im not dainty you see)
they are nice quality and good prices.

You will be nervous the 1st time I was too but as soon as I got on the green carpet my nerves went and it felt just like any other champ show.

I am going on the thursday, Gundog day, hope to meet up with some champdoggers.

Going to Cruft for 4 day's Leaving on Wednesday with the caravan staying till Monday. I will be doing DD on Friday morning from 9 to 12, It's a good excuse to get away from the kids as well, Showing on Friday. working breeds

covering DD with the schips on Friday afternoon then showing 2 different ones - seasons permitting on Sunday Hall 2 ring 9.

I will be there on the Thursday with Douglas (Cocker Spaniel Kyna Charlie Brown at Derrindee) hope to see some of you there :D :D I'm hoping to pop in Friday to see the Mal Gang.

We're going on the Friday - pastoral day. Second year of showing there, but about 100th time of shopping there!!! All the family go including mother-in-law who looks after kids when dog is being shown, and dog when kids want a wee. Always come home with loads of shopping & doggy goodies. Can't wait...

Hi i am new to champ dogs,dont know if i have posted this correctly,just like to say hello to everyone.I will be at crufts on the sunday,I am going to watch my Keeshond in the ring for the last time with his breeder an i am taking him home after the show cant wait,I am so excited.
