Topic Dog Boards / Behaviour / Walking to heel
- By molly [gb] Date 19.02.03 07:56 UTC
My Tibetan Terrier is very quick to learn, unfortunately at classes we first train the dog to walk to heel with a titbit in the left hand down by the knee. I think Molly has got the idea now but jumps up at my hand or glove as we go along. How do I get her to stop this and not have to pat my knee all the time. I think if I just stand up straight and walk along saying heel she may not understand she has to stay close and follow. Cheers Jane
