I am using this brand to wean my puppies but it seems to be going straight through them. They have been on it for the past five days and they seem to be doing more and more runny poo. Is it the food? I never had this problem with my last litter who were on Beta, but I thought this food would be better for them. How long do I give it before I say enough is enough? I have a garage full of the stuff but I just don't think the puppies are doing well on it. Can anyone recommend a good food for four week old Lab pups? They are lovely and chunky but I don't like what this food is doing to them. If I change foods should I still do it gradually? I don't want to make them any worse than they are already.
A worried Amy

I tried Wellbeloved for my adult dachsies. Their pooh became very soft on it. Didn't like it at all. I feed Burns, and i find that my three do well on it. It's got no added preservatives, just all natural, and has the added bonus of not being tested on animals.

My mother feeds her Golden on Burns, and he is very well on it - his poos are much better than they used to be (he was on Hills).

I have just changed my greyhound/deerhound cross to Burns. He has had skin problems for weeks and after just a week of 3 days starvation and 2 days on Burns the itching has subsided. Whether it was the detox or the Burns remains to be seen :-)
