Amy seems to be healthy, she is eating well, drinking well. She has just finished her season. Just now she went out to do a poo and came in with blood around her 'nether regions'. Should I be rushing her to the vets?

How much blood, do you know where it came from? Are you certain she has finished her season? Could there have been a dog in the garden when she went out? If she appears happy and normal and there is no more blood I would think it would be safe to wait and see,til tomorrow, but I would give the vet a ring to ask what he/she thinks if you are at all worried. Dont feel you are being a nuisance, thats what they are there for. Hope all is well to morrow.

Thanks for your reply. The blood was from her bum and yes I'm sure she has finished her season. It seemed to be a fair amount of blood but not dripping. I will see how she is tomorrow. Thanks again
