Let me just say -- I am NOT trying to start an argument. I have looked through past posts on E collars, but they all seem to address shock collars, which is not what I am looking for information and advice about. I am most interested in remote collars that emit a high frequency SOUND to correct the dog when he is doing something wrong. Has anyone had any luck with them? Or are they just for lazy owners? Please, I'm not trying to instigate fights - just looking for info.

I know that this is not quite the same thing, but the instructor at our training classes was trying out something the other week that she had been sent (she gets a lot of samples to try). It was like a TV remote control and had two buttons on it. One was pressed for good behaviour and the other was pressed for bad. It sent out high frequency signals. It may have come from Spain, the instructions were in Spanish. She didn't think much of it and was going to return it. She tried the 'good' button on the dogs in our class and only two made any response at all - then only minimal.
