I got to meet Django (dog pup) and Truffle (bitch pup).
The dog is a rough Griff and the bitch smooth / brother & sister.
Also met Cocoa Bean who will soon be having her 2nd birthday.
They were very friendly.
Congratulations on winning your puppy dog class & getting a 2nd
in puppy bitch.
Did Cocoa Bean place in her class?

Yes first out of one ! with Yonnie
& second out of two ! with Kiera.
I don't care if the judges like them or not -
It's nice to win but I love them regardless.
Yonnie celebrates her 2nd birthday on the 19th Sept so
is just a few days older than Cocoa Bean.

Pam,
I shall be going as a spectator on Friday.
I shall be having 'retail therapy' and watching
Boxer judging. Also providing my friend with her Border Collie
some support and comiserations if needed on the way home.
Good Luck with your pharoah's, hope you do well.
Best Wishes
Kirstine

I'll be there with my Aussie on Friday (his first show & I am so nervous. Everytime I think about it I get butterflies in my stomach) & on Sunday with my parents and the GBGV's.

I should be there on Friday to watch some of the judging and will be showing Mara (the moose as Jon affectionately calls her **chuckling**) in the GSP ring on Saturday. Feel free to drop by either the grooming tent or the ring (exhibit 5218) and natter.

Love to see you on Friday, come by the Border Terrier ring and ask anyone to point me out to you.
Long time no speak, we could catch up on some gossip i'm sure.

Sorry I missed you on Friday; I went up later in the afternoon and spent the day at the Great Dane ring where one of Jon's colleagues was showing. I understand that a puppy was stolen from the show earlier in the day -- I believe they were announcing a border collie? Anyone have any info on it? Kinda scarey, though I doubt if anyone would want to take a bouncing 60 lb 'moose' with them (aka Mara). Hope you all did well.

I've not heard of this, although I have heard of a Beardie pup being stolen on the way to Richmond yesterday morning. Apparently the dogs were travelling in a trailer, owner stopped at Keele service station, and again at Trensham. When they opened the trailer at Trensham the Beardie had gone.

Thanks, Joan. That must have been what they were announcing over the PA system on Friday while I was talking to one of Jon's colleagues that shows Great Danes. Though on Friday there was no one on the entrance from the main street and anyone could have walked off with a dog that way unhindered by pass checks. I'll keep an eye out on the papers around here for a Beardie puppy for sale just in case.

hello everyone
I hope you do well Louise.
Enjoy your day and take lots of rescue remedy for yourself
(and kidd everyone it's for the dog!)
That's what I did when I first got to Crufts in 1999!
Best Wishes

We got third puppy so have qualified for crufts :) :) :)
I was so proud of him as he just stood there and let the judge look him over, including his teeth, which he has never done properly at ringcraft.
Did anyone else have their benching changed. I got to where I was supposed to be, to find no numbers. Luckily some Aussie owners told me that we had been moved.

Hi Pam- it was nice to meet you at Bournemouth. I'm at Richmond on Sunday with my Whippet and Italian Greyhounds. I'll be the one you see flying in a blind panic from one ring to another trying not to miss my classes!!
