My 13 week old Cocker Spaniel had his second vaccinations on Monday. Yesterday (Tuesday) he did not want to get out of his bed, did not want to eat or go for a walk. I rang our vet who said not to worry, but to call him today (Wednesday) to let him know how he is. Our pup is normally quite boisterous and happy, with lots of energy. He seems a wee bit better today, but is still rather sedate.
Is this a normal side effect from the vaccinations?
Thank you.

Some pups do go a bit whoozy after vacs..it is 3/4 lots at once, no wonder it knocks them for 6. Some dogs with blue colouring therefore involving different genes /genetics react badly as do blue cats. There is an interesting article by Canine Health Concern ,
on another site about vaccinations...its on pedigreedogs.co.uk
or try going in on canine health concern. Stevie.
