I have a 12 month boxer (male) called Charlie. I know the breed are naturally abit crazy but recently charlie's has been acting really silly! I've been told that feeding dogs iams is not good for them as it contains to much protein (around 23%). What do other people think?

I have found that Iam/Eukanbu has change dramatically over the past few years. I have now stopped using it as it makes one of my dogs hyper. I couldn't understand why she couldn't seem to settle flying round the house, wouldn't leave her grandmother alone, trying to rip their armchair, she actually took on a different personality. She really couldn't understand that her behaviour was unacceptable.
When I sat back and thought about it three week earlier I had bought a bag of their Lamb and Rice. I promply stopped using it put her on Burns and sometimes Nutro and she is now back to her lovely self, full of good fun and not climbing the walls.

Hi
Iams is also made from companion animals (horses and other dogs and cats) and is tested on animals, which to many ( myself included) is unacceptable and unnecessary.
