Hi i have 3 dobes...as they grew up i had them all on beta puppy wen the time came i gradually over a 2 month period tried to change them onto junior but 2 of them lost weight an changed them back...the oldest is perfect shes very big for a dobey bitch an even after her litters she puts weight back on really quick...for awhile there i had them on beta adult chicken an rice they were fine on it until sum1 tried to poison them...of course i reported it...as usual the oldest put her weight back on straight away but the other 2 have never been the same...the vet says they are healthy enuf but im not convinced...if they stand properly they look fine but sumtimes u can see they're ribs even after a big feed...is it their skin or coat that mite need sumthin to boost them??? iv tried tripe,chicken,grey hound maintainance an none seem to hide their ribs...they are happy dogs so its not stress...can anyone help?

Hi, I have a nine month springer who has the same problem, he is quite a big dog and weighs about 20kg already but he is so thin, our vet says he is has a wonderful sleek body very long and lean but he just looks so thin. he eats very well and has more than he should but he just cant seem to put any fat over his bones.

Hey my scooby is a biggon too...hes got a very big chest an eats like a horse but its just b4 his back legs that thin an his ribs stick out even tho his chest is fat...as i said b4 vets say hes fine an healthy maybe im just bein paranoid coz my bitch is soooo big
