i have 3 staffs and all 3 have very good temperments thou different personalities. i am female so i don't use them to make myself look hard or cool, i just love them. i also have 5 kids and the dogs get on with them fine but i would never leave the kids on there own with them, that includes all breeds of dog not just bull breeds. my gran had a pom and the thing snapped at me a few times if the pom had been any bigger it would have been put to sleep, horrible little dog it was. has anyone ever done a survey of dog bites to se which breed actually bites the most, eg casualty and the doctors treatment rooms the findings might make interesting reading.

Hi,I have a Bull Terrier pup and most people in my family (husbands side) refuse to come to the house unless she is in her crate.I can't get it through to them that these dogs espesially a 13 week old puppy won't chew your arm off.so I said to them if you can't exept the dog then don't bother coming around. All dogs can be nasty,it's how you bring them up.We recently lost our collie cross, who was an angel, but I have seen a nasty side to him,not to humans but other dogs.I would'nt leave any dog alone with kids as sometimes the kids do get a little over the top.It is wrong that people find it funny that some small dogs are agressive and that most bull breeds are out to chew you up.My vet told me that people who are this way are (UNEDUCATED) .It makes me so mad,as only a small amount of owners have nasty dogs but we all pay for that by having these breeds.
