my elderly yorkie is losing his balance and finds it difficult to walk to the local shop now,i am giving him a long rest until the weather gets warmer, does any one no where i could buy something like a cage trolly with wheels so he can come to the park with my other yorkies then if his legs gets tired some like a pushchair for dogs.he is well in his self and has all his faculties and is 10 years of age .he can still walk but needs some aids i have been to the vets.

What about getting hold of a second hand push chair the sort that has a shopping tray at the bottom and seat that can be removed. Very manoverable and is usually low enough for the dog to hop on and off as required. Alternatively how about carrying him :)

I have an old Yorkie brought for trimming in a wheeled shopping basket bought from a car boot sale! The owner puts a cushion in the bottom and the old fella sits in it, looking out of the top. She even has a nylon cover with a hole in the top for his head if it's cold or wet!
