Topic Dog Boards / Visitors Questions / help - my bullmastiff opens doors

as the subject heading says:-

He opens them in and out - which in this weather is extremely
annoying not to mention cold!!!

Does anyone know of a good way to stop him short of changing
the handles to round ones????

The easiest way to stop it is just to turn the handles upside down

Child locks, I have got them nearly everywhere. Clever lurcher opens everything, including fridge :D, the rest of the pack eats the contents. Not nice. :D

hheee wow sorry not funny but what a clever doggie you have! My late BC tubbs used to do this we had to put child locks on the doors! :D Julieann xxx

Funny really seeing this thread- this morning I was complaining because Kass has been in one of her akward moods and when she was in whined to go out- as soon as she was out whined to come back in:rolleyes: So eventually after a few hours of playing silly bu**er- I closed the door while she was out- she jumps up and opens it anyway leaving the back door wide open and the house freezing:o It seems that all she wanted to do was sit in the doorway- looking outside without braving the cold but with the heat from inside backing her up:rolleyes: Funny things they are:)

I suppose one good thing to turning the handles- the burgulars wouldn't have a clue what to do:D
