would I be wise to try to introduce a dane to my home when I have 2 small dogs

what age Dane is it you are thinking of, puppy or adult? If it is an adult, you would need to make sure that it is okay with smaller dogs. You also have to consider what your dogs will be like with a Huge dog about :) If it is a puppy you are thinking of, as long as the introductions are done carefully there shouldn't be a problem.
