I know an Elkhound breeder who also breeds Shiba's, she judged both breeds in Australia last year. She is listed in the Elkhound breeder section on this site. If you mail her she may be able to help you make contact with breeders. As you might expect they may want to check out your standing in the dog community before considering exporting, but Gill Bingham (Steldawn) is very approachable).
