I am planning to visit Crufts this year for the first time. We have always lived too far away to go before so ever since moving to the Midlands last summer I have said I wanted to go to Crufts. Is it best to buy tickets before hand or can you just turn up on the day and pay at the door? I am planning to go on the gundog day which I believe is on Thursday 6 March. Also not sure how easy it is to get to as planning to drive there.
Many Thanks,
Nic.

Hi Nic,
My advice is just pay on the door to visit Crufts. I've done that before (pre-showing days!!) no problem.
As for driving there, it is so easy. Just leave M42 at J6 and it's signposted. The only problems might be the show traffic or having to park quite a way from NEC. They do have courtesy buses but these become quite over crowded to say the least!
Enjoy your day!

Drive in and park where directed. There are free buses from the further car parks. Pay at the door and also get your car park ticket at the door, you will need this when you want to drive out in the evening.
Go and enjoy yourself!

Crufts has all the details, or will have when the Breed programme is finalised. Click on Visitors Info, and you'll be able to look up the programmes for the different rings, general info and maps.

Hi Nic
I pay at the door, wear really comfy clothes, take a packed lunch and a rucksack so I can stuff it full of goodies and keep my hands free :)

Have a wonderful time and if your anything like me it's best to leave the Visa card at home and only take what you can afford to spend ! I fall for it every year and have a terrible time struggling back to the car which is probably parked in the farthest away car park with all the doggie stuff that I probably don't need but just HAD TO BUY IT !

Next time I go I'm taking one of those three legged portable seats there is never anywhere to sit down, except on spare dog benches. If you are really interested in watching a particular breed, get to the right ring early - before 9.30 am or so and you may get one of the seats around the ringside.
