I hate to mention their name again but I couldn't work out why my lovely 16month retriever bitch had become such a pain. Wouldn't settle constantly annoying her gran, racing like a nut case when out.

What had changed - why her diet of course - I had bought a sack of Eukanuba's new food supposedly only chicken and rice, but within a week what a difference in her. Also the gran who is nearly seven had become naughty when out racing off on a hunt where she would normally come to heel.

What does really go into these foods. Changed back to Nutro lovely calm dogs again!!!!

Euk has done alot of steriod testing in there foods and as far as i know they still add them to the feed.
I changed from them as i had the same problem.
Take a look at this website www.uncaged.co.uk/iams.htm.

That's an excellent example of the effect the wrong food or ingredient can have on a dog - we should all remember to check diets before thinking of anything else :p

Thanks for telling us, interesting reading, especially as the change was so marked :)
