We have a ten month old puppy and a ten week old puppy. They both get on well together but the ten week old will insist on biting anything and everything but what bothers me most is that he tries constantly to bite the ten month olds legs and ankles and I know he hurts. The older one tries to run away but that makes things worse. Can anyone suggest anything which will make life easier for the older one?

Hi Guest
I also have a puppy a 14 week old westie he is so good the biting has nearly stopped now if i tell you what i do you can make up your own mind.
we have a cage with a bed and fleece blanked covering the bed and other half of the cage (this is his space) he also has lots of toys to bite on, bones to chew/squeekers/pulling ropes, if he is naughty he goes in his cage it only lasts for about 10 mins with those puppy eyes looking at you
maybe the cage and toys will help if it doesn't your older dog will enjoy the break, let me know how you get on good luck.
