I want to know how to get my 3 yr old springer spaniel to quit growling at the springers I own? I own 4 springers 3 liver and white and 1 black and white. there ages are 5,3,6, 13 weeks old. I have recently noticed that Levi our three yr old growls at the black and white one who is 6 yrs old. He seems to be territoral lately is this possible because he is not netured and our 5 yr olds is? They all get along pretty well. We keep Levi and Beatle who is 5 yr old in the house. I hope I can get some answers from anybody!!

In the meantime if you think the growling is at all aggressive rather than an invitation to play (body language should tell you this) then keep them separate until you have sorted it to cut down on potential vet bills.

How long has the growling been going on, are any of the others (or humans) present when it happens, do you know what sets it off?
