Never heard of anything like that in UK, they may do it other places. But wait till she's a year old before starting her on any sort of agility. She's too young yet.
I think she might mean water retrieves?
I "think" this is field trials - find a gun dog trainer but remember you have to teach the basics first. Others on this list are into gundog training and should be able to help you

Can I just say I would never advise anyone to let their dog jump as far as they can into water, you never know what is lurking beneath the surface, much better to teach them to walk in from the bank. My shepherd launches himself in and this summer managed to impale himself on something, luckily he wasn't too badly injured. Ingrid

Two things spring to mind when reading this post.
1/ I work my Labradors and I deliberatly train my dogs to enter water gently. You never know what there is lurking beneath the surface. glass, old bicycles even barbed wire!!!
2/ I never start my puppies jumping at all until around a year old to give the hips time to develop without any chance of damage.
Just a couple of thoughts for you.
