We have redently bought a cavalier King charles spaniel, and wish to breed from her, she's a ruby. Could anyone give us any ideas on where to start. It would our first time breeding and have allways wanted to do it!

Have a look at these links, after that I would advise joining your breed club, so that you can learn more about your breed, they will run shows, seminars all good places to learn what is involved in producing quality sound stock.

Think very hard about breeding, don't rush into things.
I have had 2 litters, the first was a fantastic experience. Everything went perfect. I loved every second of it.
The second time was a complete nightmare.
