Iam looking to buy a puppy as a family pet and have benn recommended the above breed by my sister who is an animal nurse Iam looking for advice as where to start looking i would be gratefull for any advice

Try the Border Terrier info pages on Champdogs. There are breeders registered/ owners/ clubs etc.
There are also lots of useful links and contact details here. Lots of info including Border terrier clubs and rescue.
