Topic Dog Boards / Feeding / Pedigree Junior Maxi Advance

Im a bit hesistant to say, but I give my 15 month old GSD bitch Pedigree Junior Maxi Advance (hesistant to say, because I know the latest rage is the Barf diets, but the pedigree advanced dry food was what the breeders started her off on, and I have no reason to change because she's in good health).
On the packaging, it says "for large to giant size dogs from 6 months to adulthood". My question to anyone out there is when is "adulthood" for a GSD bitch???

Hi Josh -Don't be hesitant ;) each to their own ,as long as your dog is healthy and thriving then that is all that matters :)
I fed my murph ( dobe ) on pedigree lge breed till he was 12 months old but he is certainly not an adult yet !!
if your not sure ask the breeder for their advice but I'm sure there'll be others along soon to help :)

My mal's on Advance Junior Maxi as well as raw meat (I'm a bit of a mix and match :) ) He's 19 months now and I'm thinking of swapping him to adult at about 2 years old as he's still growing / maturing at the moment. My brother who has GSD and Leonbergers also swaps his dogs to adult complete at around 2 years.
Joan :)
