If I was writing this about humans I would be very embarrassed but as it's something my dog is doing I hope you'll all understand !

My older dog (T.J.) has developed an obsession with the urine of the younger one (Buddy). To the extent that when Buddy has a pee, T.J. just has to go and lick his willie ! I know dogs have habits which to us are quite disgusting but are perfectly normal to them, but T.J. has been doing this so much that his face (normally light cream) is becoming very stained - a sort of yukky brown colour. It looks awful.

Does anyone else have a dog that does this ? Is there anything I could safely use to remove the staining from his face ?

If this is a recent habit I would be wondering if the younger dog has a Urine infection, causing the older one to need to clean up, or confusing him into acting as if this is bitch urine, which males often like to sniff and taste, yuk.

Trying feeding Buddy some asparagus -- the odd smell might turn TJ off from it!

Hello.
Well what can i say dogs do love to do the oddest things dont they but mine dose to. My 9 month old GSD will lick up 6 year olds wee in the garden and no she hasnt any infections i just think its a dog thing. I watched programs on wild dogs and they do it so why shouldnt ours. I really wouldnt worry.
