Hi There
Keeping flea`s and ticks at bay without using shampoo`s and sprays.Has any one got information or old wives tales on the above,my friend has a dog which is prone to getting flea`s for one reason or another. I have surggested mixing garlic cloves with olive oil and putting a spoonful on his food, but the dog does not like the garlic or the smell of it,anymore homemade remedies?

I agree with Alex. Frontline is the best - you can use drops or a pump-spray (non-aerosol) - it is free of organophospates, so is non-pesticide, and very safe - and it works!

hi,
for ticks you can use vasaline, cover the tick with it and wait for it to drop off, will take a little while, as trying to pull them out if they are to imbedded in the skin can cause infection if the tick is not removed whole.regards tina
