You did not say what breed. Speak to Ben's breeder to find out about the nessersary tests for his breed. Ask advice about the breed lines that would be suitable for him. Make sure you know what your liabilities are. Make sure you will be able to handle the mating situation it will be up to you to deal with and help the dog and also to help with the homing of the puppies, and re-homing if the are returned. And you had better start showing him because unless he has done well, he will not have bitches bought to him.
