Hi,

Has anyone got any bright ideas on companies that sell the wire bench 'top and front' guard contraptions? (Expect from that description that most of you won't know what I'm talking about! ............)

Marina I know what your talking about but I am not sure where to get them from I compromise and use Two puppy panels one for front one for top and fasten on with cable ties.Gillian

MMG and Trysrorme both do them, numbers in dog papers.

Hi, The best and cheapest thing I was told about, and use is a fire guard.
The bronze coloured fire guard (wire mesh) which you can get from Argos for about £15.00. If you take it apart down the centre joint and then take off the the top pieces completely, you end up with two pieces both with a hinged top that can be attached to the bench dividers using tie wraps, and secured at the bottom with either tie wrap or nylon collar.
This is what I use for my dobes but it would depend on your breed as to whether it would be too big for your bench, it fits our quite well.
All the best Mandi
