Breeders who own bitches will seek the best possible stud dogs to complement their bitches virtues, and improve on her faults. they will asses a dog on his show/working record, and his pedigree.
If you do not show or work your dog then you are unlikely to find reputable owners of bitches interested in using him.
You should take him back to his breeder who may be able to give you a realistic egvaluation of his qualities (assuming they themselves are experienced and knowledgeable). If you have no9 interest in showing or working, but his breedr, and/or owner of his Sire think him a top class specimin with something to offer the breed, then you may find that they may have or have freinds who may consider using him if his bloodlines are interesting.
To be honest though the Golden Retriever is a numerically strong breed, so most breeders have a wide choice of proven dogs to choose from, and unless you plan to get more deeply involved with the breed, I would just enjoy your dog as a valued pet. If you are hoping to have a similarly nice dog, go back to his bvreeder for another when you are ready, as they obviously have produced what you like!
There is a lot involved in producing sound typical stock, and it requires a lot of study and work to do it properly.
