One of my puppy owners is in Finchhampstead & I wondered if anyone can recommend a (pet dog standard, not competition obedience) training class in the area? Needs to be a sensible (common sense) type one please!

There is one in Woodley Sam - which isn't too far from Finchampstead, it depends how far they want to travel.

Haven't been for years, but there has traditionally always been an obedience class at Saint Sebastian's village hall - have no contact details, don't even know what night it's on if it is still there, but she could pop down and have a look on their notice boards. (Assume your owner will know where this is, but ask her to contact me on 01344 884847 if she doesn't and I'll try and help out.)

There are puppy classes (and others) held at Barkham Village Hall - approx 5 mins from Finchampsted, Monday nights at about 7pm, very reasonable prices for that area, all the others round here are very expensive, email me if you want the contact number,

I've found a class in Lightwater on a Thursday evening and Finchampstead on a Wednesday evening.

The Lightwater one has a new group starting on the 27th Feb and they take pups from 10wks as long as they've had at least 1 jab.

I'll be taking Lola there so if your buyers would like the details of either let me know and I'll let you have the phone number.
