I have a long haired chihuahua and his coat is very soft almost "downy" it is flat and smooth on his back but around his ruff, sides and legs it is very soft and fly away. I have awful problems with it. Whenever he is in the car he gets "static" in it and it sticks up like he was plugged in!!!!!!LOL, it's like that most of the time but worse when he is in the car. Does anyone know of anything that I could use that would calm it down a little.

A product by BioGroom called simply Anti Static Spray, available from H.U.B. International, or PetCetera. This should do the trick.
