Would someone please tell me where I can order a grooming table? I have only found one source by web searching - and the only table on offer was a fancy one on wheels for £150.
Thanks in advance,
Stacey

Stacey,
I would say Simpsons also, I found them very good.
To be honest if you don't need a trolley with wheels could you not just make something and put a piece of the table top rubber on it.
Just a thought as it would be cheaper.
I have a actually double kitchen unit in my garage with a piece of rubber matting I bought at a champshow I think it was £12, I have a mirror fixed to the wall behind it. I also have a grooming trolley but tend to keep it for the shows as I personally find it heavy moving around and getting in and out of car.
If you do decide to buy one ask for simpsons to send you their free catalogue it is very good. If you look at the tables, I bought the medium sized one with big wheels , once it came though I wished I had got the smaller one. i can sit 3 westies on the medium one which I would nver need to do.
Don't know if this helps but good luck.

I used to put a piece of rubber matting on my old kitchen table for grooming, convincing myself that I didn't need to spend a lot of money on a grooming table. One day I succumbed when I went to a big Champ show where there was a stand selling grooming tables (Dezynadog). Shows are a great place to buy these pieces of equipment because there's someone on hand to discuss all the pros and cons of various models and you can see for yourself how things work. I spent a lot of money but bought a fantastic table and restraining arm. I wished I'd bought it earlier because it's just the right height, and saves me quite a bit of back pain leaning over my dog when I'm grooming him.
I also have a catalogue from Simpsons, who are very good. I probably would have bought one from them, but just happened to visit this other stand at the time. I'm pretty sure Simpsons will be at Crufts though.

Simpsons will be at crufts.
LAst year I bought my table before crufts and it had a little dent in it so they gave me a support arm for free as compensation I set one up at either side so I can unclip and turn and re clip to the other.
Oh the joys..
Looking forward to this year..

Thanks everyone. I shall definitely try Simpsons. If I can get a grooming arm from them I expect I could set it up on a work table with the mat (great idea) my husband bought -- but never uses.

Stacey that would work well as the tables are expensive, I think last year I spent £100's on extras..

Hi Stacey - I bought my grooming table from Simpsons also. Size medium without wheels - cost around £115 in April last year.

DeZina Dog do them. I go a medium one, no wheels, fairly lightweight, and it was £95 including postage to Jersey. Was an excellent buy in my view.
