Hiya ..cannot help with the local amenities I'm afraid but I do know that pets are often included in the rules and regulations when you lease a property. Some landlords don't mind and others will not have them...it is something you need to check before you sign a tanancy agreement.

Hope you enjoy the move to the UK ....the move is usually the other way around ;)
