Topic Dog Boards / Behaviour / Lurcher Biting - HELP!
- By jeancaslake [gb] Date 08.01.03 22:34 UTC
Just emailed Kaye @lurcher.org re almost what you mentioned. however my greyhound/saluki x just bites when he is a bit sleepy or roused from sleep. my husband is the recipient of most very bad bites, as Sam, the dog, appears almost psychotic when it happens, and does not recollect the incident, ie he does not do usual things that reprimanded dogs do! he has started also barking like crazy. Vet's advice is to put him down...........................
I'm not a 1st time owner having another lurcher now and one for 17 years! usually he is my best friend, perhaps too much, although he has bitten me also. any bright ideas?
