Just read the awful experience with Alfie. Is he okay now (I really hope so) as the thread just stops?

I would be very angry with the vet who said it wasn't that serious...

Liz is back at the vets today and if blood tests OK he should be home tomorrow I believe. She said she'd post when she'd been at the vets (that's why I've been hanging around but got to go now for a while) so hoping to hear some good news soon!!

Sorry all, been on the phone to wellwishers and Alfie fans most of the day so couldn't get online.
The news is very good! Alfie's bloods are almost back to normal, and urine shows no trace of protein or blood, so it looks as if he will make a full recovery!
He was taken off the drip this morning, and they stopped the drugs to prevent him being sick, so if he's not sick today he can come home tomorrow!!
I can't stop for long, as I'm just off to the vets to visit him, and have a 'word' with my regular vet before taking things any further, so I will post again later when I get home.
Thanks for all your support everyone- I am so elated that he's made it!!
