I remember Camrose goldens. Our goldens had Camrose in their pedigree. I think a lot of good lines had.

If you type "camrose golden retrievers" into "google" search engine it gives loads of references which may be of help.

She is still around and still active in the breed although I'm not sure if she is still breeding. If no one else gives you the info you need I'll contact a friend in the breed for you, I know she will know.

I can get both of mine back to the first few founding dogs :)

Ihave just got my puppy Amber and she is from the Canina line do you know of anything that I must look out for in this line as I have brought her first as a pet and then to show.

Hi Nina - I have a seen a few Canina dogs in the ring but don't know the line personally. I'm Lincolnshire and they are from the South I believe ? I think Emma (Amberscade Goldens) who posts on here occasionally may be more familiar with them.
I'm very much a novice myself - only been showing a few months although I've had Goldens for a couple of years. Got my 11 month old as a pet firstly then decided to try a few shows and done 7 or 8 now :)
Phoebie is a gorgeous girl but she isn't likely to be in the top winners - she is a good first show dog though and who knows she may surprise me yet ;) She is 11 months now and has been quite slow maturing but gets nicer by the day :)
I hope you're enjoying Amber - they are a lovely breed but then I'm biased ;)

I am a novice too when it comes to showing I have only put Jake into examption shows he will be 3 years old when I put him into his first open show quite old for a show dog I know but he is doing so well in ringcraft that I feel happy enough to try the open shows.
I am learning all the time with Jake and I really enjoy showing (I have the bug), Iam really hoping that Amber will do well because if she does I would like her to be my maiden bitch in a couple of years hopefully with a lot of advice from people on this site, If not she will all ways be my baby.
I contacted Marlene who owns the Canina line and that is how I got Amber should really go back to her and ask not sure if I would affend her though by asking.
Would like to use one of her boys on Amber as they are wonderful looking dogs and have a great temperment.
