Taking in a to be abandoned onthe roadside if you don't Golden retriver. I've got LOTS of experience working with aniamls. No problem rehabing an abused or neglected canine. Need to know proper amounts to feed a Golden. Any dietary tips to improve health ect. Don't know how bad off he's gonna be. 1 year old, pedigreed, bought from breeder for 300 dollars (Probably not show or breeding quality) being replaced by pit bulls. Father thinks thier better family dogs. Grandfather is aranging our pick up of dog next sat. Got my purina and alpo here. Ready for his mental problems, don't know what I am to face physicaly. Vet appointments set. Any suggestions? Big fenced run (40x50) against house. baby gates untill we know he's housebroken and won't eat the kitties (Both special needs.) LOTS of love and background in handling. Just don't know this breeds specifics. Or the tricks owners figure out from living with them. Any such tips, plus feeding amounts and things to watch for health wise would be much appriciated. Once I know he's gonna be okay, I'll work on finding him a perminant home. I figure he'll be with us at least 6 months before that. Thanks for the help, you can e-mail replies directly to me at Hangman@roanoke.infi.net I don't websurf much. Thanks again!!
