Alfie is spending the weekend on a drip at the vets as initial blood tests show kidney damage. I am devastated- the vet is talking about 'hopefully getting him through it'. They will run more tests in 48 hours to see if there has been an improvement, but she says as he is quite bright, she is fairly hopeful.
I am going to visit him this evening. I just can't face the thought that I might lose him- he means everything to me.
Please keep your fingers crossed for him.

Good Luck to Alfie, we have all fingers and paws crossed this end for him.
Just wish I'd read your post earleir, I've come across this before, the 2 dogs concerned where ok after 48 hours in the vet. Ingrid
