I'm so very very sorry to hear this news. I'm assuming this is Andy you're talking of.
Just yesterday I was looking through some old Crufts catalogues, came across his name and was wondering about him and thinking it had been quite some years since we had seen him at the shows. We first met at Bath Champ show in 1994, the first champ show for both of us and we both managed to miss our classes.
A very friendly chap, I'm sure he will be greatly missed.
