As most of you know I have a little puppy husky called Shunuk or choc-ice as some of you have nic named him :) :)

Although I am a little worried as he has no testicles at all, I have took him to the vets and he has told me that they should be there by know (he is 12 weeks old). But the vet can not feel them any where not even his groin. I spoke to my breeeder and she told me not to worry as he is till young and being a artic breed they do tend to hold them longer than other breeds due to the cold weather. She has told me to massage them every day and give him vitamin E. I have been massageing them but still have no joy :(. My other husky I have who had both down when he was 12 weeks but then retracted one of them for a week and they are both fine know. :)

I know they start of at the kidneys and have a long way to travel but surely there should be something there by now?

I wouldn't worry too much Heidi -he's still very young -bet he's loving the massage though :D

Don't worry it's too early for that just yet, in my breed schipperkes and the pommies too the boys can be a tad reluctant to let them down.

The 2 I sent to Germany this year were a dog and bitch and had to be vet checked for their export pedigree, well my little chap decided to show the vet his 2 days before he left at 16wks upto then I'd only been able to feel them when he was first born and the odd day upto 2 wks.

My latest male from a fellow breeder has just decided at 5mths that he'll keep them, his were still well hidden at 15 wks, didn't check again until this week so couldn't tell you when he let them down.
