Another visit to vet (£232 this time). they have taken another bar off leg and she is making good progress. She still has all the pins in tho.I now have to undoe the hinges 3 times a day with spanners and an alun key and do passive movements for 5/10mins, then screw it back at the correct angle. Quite a work of art. Another visit in 2 weeks to remove a bot more ironmongery. So far so good.

Hi Sue
Good to hear that things are going well. There's not many who could cope with what you're having to do. Keep up the good work !!

Glad she is getting better Sue :-)
I really don't envy you trying to keep her still and quiet though!

Hi Sue,
That sounds great, I assume they are quite happy with her spine now. You have really stood by her and done your very best you should feel proud of yourself. Thank heavens for insurance :-)

Well done Sue,
I think I'd be scared stiff I'd damage her  I suppose it's different when it's your own :)
Good news that she's improving.
