We are looking for a breeder or a list of breeders of labradoodles in the UK. It has to be a standard cross labrador. Hope you can help.

When are people going to realise that a labradoodle is not a pedigree dog it's just a cross breed and as far as i know there are no plans to make this a recongnised breed.
again i think it is just a fashion, and would take many many many years before you would even get two dogs to look similar let alone make it a breed.

Dear Paul, Labradoodles are just a cross bred dog, the sort you can get at any rescue centre. Some are very nice dogs, some have problems. I don't know what you mean by a standard cross Labrador, but no breeder who cared about the breed would cross it with any other breed. Ja:)kie

I think he means 'standard poodle' x labrador
(not that it makes that much difference 'a mongrel by any other name')
