Hi there :)
As a lot of you know the first husky I had was from a puppy farmer and I had no papers with him etc etc (Well actualy I had a 5 generation pedigree which later I found out was all made up). Zeus is 2 know and I am worried that been as though I do not have a clue on his background etc how is this going o affect his health later on in life? Such as bad hips and eyes, his nature is good as gold you could not ask for a sweeter natured dog, then again I have not got a clue what his family history is, but speaking for huskies they are not naturally bad temp dogs.
The 5 generation I have got of Zeus parents are correct I have found that bit out but I spoke to my breeder and she said the rest does not add up at all. His dad had restrictions on him hence the *breeders* could not kc the pups, what sprt of restrictions do you thoink he had on him do you think it maybe because he had bad eyes or hips? or could it be the breeder of the sire had breeding restrictions on the dog?
Any ideas?????????

How long is a piece of string Heidi! We could all speculate on why the dog was endorsed until the cows come home. If you have the sires name and he is KC reg, why not contact them direct and ask? The Kennel Club.
As for worry and speculating about what might happen in the future, you'll give yourself an ulcer  Just enjoy your dog as he is and worry about any problems if and when they arrive :-)

Hi
theres no point in worrying now-just make sure your dog is insured!!!My staff has just cost us £3000+ and we're possibly not finished yet.Without insurance he wouldn't be here.
We all live and learn and I would never buy another dog without parents having had their health checks -I'm sure your the same!
Regards Nikki.

If you are really worried you could have his hips xrayed to see if there are any potential problems with the joints.
I started giving one of my GSD's New Zealand Green Lipped Mussel extract as a preventative supplement to ward off arthritis from the age of nearly four as he was always on the go and in all weathers.
