Do puppies normally grow out of chewing or is it something that I will have to put up with forever?
Bye.

Hi
99% of puppies go through the chewing stage, it is usually when they are cutting their teeth. Does the pup have toys of his own? Make sure you are firm with him if he is chewing things that he shouldn't have as if not stopped he will think it is ok to chew your best shoes or your table leg! Give him things of his own but not shoes or slippers as he will think all shoes etc are game.
Our pups enjoy an empty plastic bottle but watch they are not chewing lumps off it. A rubber ball, or anything hard but dog proof! LOL

All pups go through this phase and if kept under control ie only letting them chew things they are allowed to have then the pup will grow out of it.
