Sorry peeps, I know this has been discussed, but I have just been able to find some locally and would like to know how much others pay for their 15kg sacks (adult)? I have been quoted £13.95 and my supplier is usually v. good on prices, just wondered if this is right? My lot have been on Chudleys, but Decoy still gets a bit of a runny bot every other poo:(, Fancied trying this instead in the hopes the herbs may do him some good? Look!!! I kept it short:eeK:!!!! Julie:)

Hiya Julie
I use Autarky and I pay 13.99 for the 15kg sack ( adult ) so sounds right to me :)
Apparently it's vat free
Murph is doing well on it -and doesn't stink ( much :D )
and what comes out the other end is always pretty much the same ! ( horrible :D )

Hi liz, just got back from the feed supplier - and given the dogs all a taster - they like it - phew!!! He doesn't stock it but gets it in special - but apparently he can get it by the next day - so no worries there! I'll let know how they do on it! they do lovely fleecey blankets in there with wolves on for the dogs beds - ooo soooo tempting - the big ones are £20 and they would have to be folded even for monsters bed (huge)so I think I'll be popping back on monday, (when hubby isn't with me -gasping at my purchases!!) Julie:)

Hi jackiejat - cor yours is cheap!
Steve/Liz - what quantities are you feeding Murph? Is he still on the pup food ? - I just got the Adult for all of mine , but am now wondering whether I should have got the pup food for the Monster (8 months) I don't like too much protein (in case he turns into Alfie on Smarties!!!:D) and also am not sure which guide to follow. Are you following the Resting one? They (Autarky) sent me a big brochure detailing all of the ingredients in each range of feed (they do cat food too) including the non-declarable stuff too! All seems fine - so far I am really pleased with it - they are better on it than with Chudleys, and the poo is better- less of it, Decoy is not sloppy anymore either:) It is actually really similar to Burns and they scoff it up - so no complaints! Julie:)

Hi Julie - sorry only just seen this -I feed him on the adult summer years --He's 14 months and I'm sorry but I don't weigh it or anything

he's not a greedy dog ( well he'd eat titbits all day :D )
I have a small metal bowl ( camping type) and he gets about 2 scoops and sometimes gravy and kids leftovers
-It takes him ages to eat his meal in the evening ( which I don't mind --scared of bloat etc )
I subscribe to the theory -if he eats it all -give a bit more
But like I say he's not greedy and he's not fat I'm sorry if this sounds garbled ( but I think garbled :D )
I'm really happy with it and murph looks great on it ,he still has his *pingy* days but there you go ;)
Liz :)

Thanks liz - I have been doing the same, going on eye rather than weighing. Decoy looks really good on it, and the Monster has a really shiney coat now, I'm dead chuffed with it, Got to get my order in before tomorrow! Thanks all! I don't supposed anyone knows their policy on animal testing - I was going to email them! Julie:)

Hi Dizzy - a direct number for them is 0800 328 5197 - when I initially emailed them it took a couple of days to get a reply, I also phoned them and they sent me a really good info pack. My local feed supplier is now stocking the complete range, as I told him I would recommend it to anyone who asked me at club etc. Julie:)
