I would like to find an Irish Setter puppy for our family.

We want a companion dog, we do not show any of our pets. We live in a village in the Hampshire countryside, the puppy will have constant company with the Grandparents, Children, and Aupair (not to mention the cats). The property has a good sized garden which will be fully available to investigate, and I will provide secure fencing.

As it is not the usual time of the year for puppies, we are happy to wait if any breeders are planning litters in the next 6 months or so.

I hope someone can help. Contact me at hkzrobertson@hotmail.com

Welcome to the forum Helen.

Have a look at our Irish Setter Breeders list. I am sure that someone on there can recommend a litter to you.

Or you could try the South of England IS Club: Mrs.Webb on 01932 872141

Try looking at the puppy registers on the following sites.
www.irishsetter.org.uk and www.isbc.org.uk/
They show planned litters as well as ones ready now.
I know an excellent breeder in your area is expecting a litter very soon. Good luck, it sounds as though you have a super home waiting for a lucky puppy.
Those two sites are well worth a visit for information on the breed.
