Hi,
I have to echo Dizzy's comments. Friend of mine bought Fit & fertile never made a blind bit of difference!
BUT has anyone tried this? It is by the horse supplement manufacturers NAF. They have Canine supplemsnt too and have one called Canine Skin Formula. I quote "contains MSM and essential fatty acids for healthy skin and glossy coat. Offers nutrional support to skin challenged by insect bites and other allergens".
I'm off to Perth to get some for Mia! They have a website,
www.naf-uk.com

Mirra coat smells very similar to fit and fertile and to be honest didn't do much for my rough collie.Gillian

Sorry to jump in on this thread, but I didn't know you were in Scotland Lily,
Anne

Thanx for the feedback everyone :-)
Has anyone had any success with either of these products? I am getting desperate here :-( Our puppy is still dropping her coat big time and the mange has gone now. I don't want to end up with a wireless wirehair :-(

Hi Leigh, I used Mirra Coat on a Wolfie once a good few years ago, who was very very short of coat and whiskers, after a moult, her coat just didnt seem to come back. It worked a treat, but her coat came through very soft instead of crisp and harsh. When I read the label(!!!!!) at that time it did state that it wasnt suitable for rough coated breeds, but I dont know if that still applies.

Thanx for that Phil :-) Laws has a lovely *wire* coat, so I don't want that growing back soft if I can help it! Do you know if this Fit & Fertile would be ok?

Hi leigh, I have been using mirra coat for 5 months on my labs, the one bitch had a terrible coat but since using mirra coat it has come back great, wirehaired breeds only need half the amount, I know someone who uses it on their GWP and her coat is coming back nice. Hope that helps

Thanx Tracy. Lawries breeder recommended Mirra Coat to me, but was unsure if it was still made :-) she had used it on a Setter though.
