Can't help on this Smurf, did so a search and found that there are two types of psuedomanas recognised
"Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a ubiquitous environmental bacterium that is one of the top three causes of opportunistic human infections"
Commonly seem to be connected with water (including spa baths in humans) and are drug resistant
~~
The closest I could find was Otitis Externa (Swimmer's ear) relating to children [link http://www.ask.co.uk/metasearch.asp?aj_product=IndexSearch&MetaEngine=Teoma&EngineOrdinal=1&ItemOrdinal=6&m=10&AdServerCode=&MetaURL=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Esurgery%2Eucsd%2Eedu%2FENT%2FDAVIDSON%2FPedOto%2Fears%2Ehtml__score_0.11__&MetaTopic=Pediatric+Otolaryngology%3A+EARS&ask=treatment%2Bof%2Bpsuedomonas&LogId=A3B64ADBAED24049A9FFD512D9875D36&origin=0&qsource=0&qcategory=none&aj_is=no&rf=false&x=false] here [/link] Hope this link works as it is five lines long!

Hi Smurf
My friends dog has been plauged by Pseudomonas ear
problems for most of his life up to now she has kept it under control with Baytril antibiotic and Epiotic ear cleaner, she reckons there is no cure just control.
Recently her vet has been to a seminar, ear problems was one of the subjects covered. She returned raving about the success in cureing ear infections with a dilute solution of VINEGAR (made up by the pharmacy ofcource)She is giving it a try but it is early days so I cannot say if she is impressed or not but she did say the vet warned her the dog would find it unpleasant
for the first few days which he did.Its worth asking your vet to give it a try on your dog.
Regards Carole
