Just think ..... it is not that many years since the American's appeared to have everything bigger than us in the UK - cars, steaks, hats etc etc.

Now it has turned a full circle where dogs are concerned and it seems every breed has to be minaturised.

Is it just me? :)

Actually, Christine, it's the American nature of extremes --- if you can't have the biggest, it needs to be the smallest... or the cutest, or the strongest...something to make 'it' unique ;) :) :D :) Hubby can't stand huge SUV's, but he'd like tiny Mini Cooper to scoot around in one of these days :P :)

But I found out a while ago that apparently Miniature Bull Terriers were standardized and set in place before BT's were. And to me, the idea of "miniature" in this case isn't really that small :rolleyes: They're actually normal sized and the BT is much larger :P :D
