lol!
I did meet a boxer once called Punch though. He was a rescue and his owner didn't like it much so she called him Mr. Punch.

As a past Boxer owner please not the usual names,<vbg> mine were called Drek,Chuck,Klan,Kapra,Tel and Kree. There is or was a book called German Names for German Dogs which might give some ideas.
Have a look at the pedigree my Beardie is registered as Sallen Cava and called Cava, try a German dictionary and find someone who speaks German I have to like how a name sounds and looks. Tel was pinched from a GSD show catalogue Drek is a German name and was also his registered name

Anne,
I am being Nosey, I have been and had a look at all your pictures..all lovely and was well impressed with Brainless's pictures also.
Can I ask why you went away from Boxers??
Oh Guest sorry..
My Boxer was called Fudge. My brother has one called Babe.

Pam,
You are interested not nosey;-) I came out of Boxers and into Beardies by accident really, I had no thought of having another dog never mind a Beardie, but had a friend who I went to shows with who had Beardies and I had shown them and worked them a couple of times.Well she had a litter of pups which were all homed by the time I saw them and I was really taken with a little bitch with one blue eye. Came home and told Mum and Dad about her which was very unusual as I am not a great puppy person. Following week I went to a show with my friend and she was telling me she had had a cancellation and low and behold it was little blue eye. She was saying that she was the brightest in the litter and she was tempted to keep her to work but felt she was training enough, conversation went on and she asked me if she kept her would I like to train and compete with her. I was very keen but said I would think it over went home told parents who said would that work would you not be better to have her here. I was gobsmacked as I had 4 Boxers at the time, all kenneled. Phoned my friend and offered to buy her but no she was to be a gift, she was to go in kennels but Mum took one look at her fell in love and she was in the house. Love the breed to bits and just never had another Boxer partly due to people's attitude to big breeds. That was Una, and tho' I think about another breed I think I am smitten and will stick with the hairy ones.
Sorry to be so long but you did ask.

Hi Pam - I am a Black Adder fan. Baldrick is Black Adder's loyal servant and he always had a "cunning plan". It just seemed to suit a boxer. Plus when I call him, only he comes back!!! He is my first boxer and I am hooked. I have never had such an intelligent, easy to train, willing to please dog, with such a brilliant character. He has been nothing but a pleasure from day one. I have definately found the breed for me :0)
Joanne

That is a great name, Boxers certainly have cunning plans;-)
