A 'blueish glaze' is usually due to a corneal problem of some sort. The eye problems bullmastiffs are most prone to are entropion/ectropion/trichiasis which can be easily corrected but can also cause corneal scarring. Many other eye diseases, including uveitis, corneal dystrophies, chronic infections, viral infections, glaucoma - and a whole lot more - can also cause corneal scarring/clouding. Some cause other syptoms, others do not. So it is impossible to guess which it could be - and of course it could be nothing at all. You could check the following: Do Albert's eyelids roll inwards or hang out from his eyeball? Are the whites of the eyes red? Is there any discharge? Do the eyes seem to cause him pain or irritation? Can you see any blood vessels or whitish tissue on the corneas (the clear part of the eye in front of the iris & pupil)? But whatever you find, Jackie is right - best get it checked out by a vet.
