i have a 2 year old golden retriever which i would like 2 show if she was is within the standard
and i would like 2 attend afew shows 2 find what is expected when can i find where they are being held any help or advice would very helpfull

Join a ringcraft club they will be able to help you with all your questions. Who cares if your dog is of good standard if you think you will enjoy showing have a go. Ja:)kie

The best place to look for dog clubs in your area would be the vets or pet food shops. Both nearly always have poster for clubs on display. Scooby, I'm sorry but I don't always under stand very short criptic posts, not trying to rub you up the wrong way just trying to understand what you are getting at.

As far as visiting shows is concerned it depends on what kind of show and how far you want to travel.
The season for Championship shows is almost finished-The last one this year is LKA in Birmingham and then Manchester in Febuary.
The easiest place to find out about Open shows is one of the Dog papers which you can get at any newsagent although you may have to order it if its not on the shelf.
